APIO Jewellery Contest: entries open in June
The 2020 APIO Jewellery Competition – Portuguese Jewellery Industry Association, will be dedicated to the “hundredth anniversary of the birth of Amália Rodrigues”, thus wanting to combine these celebrations and recognising their importance in the cultural and artistic environment, both nationally and internationally.
It should be noted that this competition has undergone changes in terms of prizes and can be considered “more enticing and attractive to competitors”. The big winner will now receive 500 euros at the top of the podium and the second and third place will both be awarded the 925 silver bars with the proper acknowledgement.
Open to all associates and professionals in the sector, students and graduates of goldsmithery courses, the competition has the institutional support of the Amália Rodrigues Foundation as well as the regular partners, Ourivesaria Sarmento and the magazine JoiaPro. Registration is open until September 11th.
