“Working with silver has always been a dream of mine”

His dream has always been “silverware”, but he also shares his passion for both music and photography. Influenced by pop art, José Carlos has a special affection for the “transformation of things”, in a way that “cannot be found anywhere else”.

The portfolio of over sixteen thousand different works is proof of the longevity and assertiveness of José Carlos’ work, and he notes “an evolution” throughout his work. In a “very competitive” market, the question remains whether his creations have always received the recognition they deserve. The answer is irrefutable: “Yes, I always have. People know me and if the decorative silverware is not signed, the shop returns it”.
