Porto Council supports traditional jewellery trade

The Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, signed this week the first program contracts of the Fundo Municipal de Apoio ao Porto de Tradição, which will cover 25 establishments and one entity.

The traditional jewellery trade will be one of the fund’s areas of activity, covering some of the city’s most emblematic spaces: Alcino Silvermith since 1902, José Rosas & Cª, Ourivesaria Coutinho, Marcolino Relojoeiro and Ourivesaria Luiz Ferreira.
