Following its first presentation in the US at Printemps, New York, The Value of Time Group is moving forward with a global strategy to expand the awareness of certified Portuguese filigree, while safeguarding its future.

The initiative includes the planned opening in the fourth quarter of 2026 of the first international filigree boutique of Joalharia do Carmo at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, bringing this Portuguese art form to one of the world’s most visited cultural destinations.

“Certified Portuguese filigree is one of Portugal’s most extraordinary art forms, but it has never had the international visibility that its beauty, complexity, and uniqueness deserve. We believe this is the right moment to bring it to the world. Our goal is to position Portuguese filigree where it belongs: within the conversation of jewelry at the highest level,” reaffirms António Quaresma, Founder, The Value of Time Group.

The presentation in New York is part of a broader international strategy focused on cultural preservation through commercial sustainability. Later this year, Joalharia do Carmo is expected to open its first international filigree boutique at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, showcasing Portuguese filigree to one of the world’s most visited cultural destinations.

For The Value of Time Group, the expansion represents more than just a retail initiative.
