Arneiro Goldsmithery presents, in its store, the collection by Portuguese designer Sara Sousa Pinto, featuring an innovation that marks a significant step forward in national jewellery: pieces with the UniqueMark digital certificate, which guarantees authenticity, traceability, and ownership in a secure and tamper-proof manner.

UniqueMark is the first Digital Certificate issued by the Portuguese Assay Office (Contrastaria Portuguesa), launched by the Imprensa Nacional‑Casa da Moeda (INCM), and represents a historic milestone: it adapts the certification of precious metals—a practice dating back to the 13th century—to the digital era. This certification does not replace traditional hallmarking but complements it, adding an extra layer of security.

The certificate is a secure and tamper-proof record of each piece, allowing customers to verify its origin, the artisan, authenticity, and full history at any time via smartphone. This innovation creates a new way to experience jewellery: each item becomes a unique digital asset, combining aesthetic, historical, and technological value.

With decades of tradition, Arneiro Goldsmithery is recognized for its commitment to quality, personalized service, and a carefully curated selection of designer jewellery. By offering a Sara Sousa Pinto collection certified with UniqueMark, Arneiro reinforces its position at the forefront of the industry, combining tradition, Portuguese design, and cutting-edge technology, while providing customers with a modern and innovative shopping experience.

“Valuing Portuguese goldsmithery is fundamental to our cultural identity. I am honored to belong to a family that has always treasured this craft, and I intend to continue doing so. We are the key link between production and the end customer, and we always aim to offer the very best of what is made in Portugal,” says Mafalda Arneiro, business director.

Each piece in the collection reflects Sara Sousa Pinto’s artistic sensitivity and signature style, as well as Arneiro Goldsmithery’s vision to promote national jewellery and innovate the way customers perceive and acquire designer pieces.
