Escola Engenho & Arte organizes a Filigree workshop

The workshop aims to exemplify “the main techniques of the classic Portuguese filigree”, providing the participants with the “opportunity to make a piece of their own”, with the material (925 silver) supplied. How to “create a mold work and a skeleton of a filigree piece, learn the essential filling techniques and apply them according to the intended aesthetic objective”, are other themes of this workshop.

The 14-hour workshop is aimed at “jewellery novices or those with knowledge of delicate silver soldering”. The sessions will take place on the 7th and 8th of May.
