Tavares strides towards centenary at Paris Fashion Week
During the week of 21st to 26th June, Paris Fashion Week will take place, one of the most important fashion events worldwide. Tavares will be present, along with other Portuguese fashion brands in the pop-up store Local Goes Global, integrated in the Next Step project, which aims to support the internationalization of business activity.
This initiative gathers several Portuguese designers and brands transporting them to several European cities, through pop-up stores. This concept was developed by ANJE- National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, with the aim of boosting the internationalization of Portuguese designers and fashion brands.
Local Goes Global Paris will be the first of the range of European pop-up stores, and the pop-up stores in Milan, London, Qatar and Moscow will follow between August and October.
One year away from celebrating its 100th anniversary, Tavares is betting on the internationalisation of the brand and, in parallel, on the expansion to the digital market. The brand’s presence at one of the most iconic fashion events in the world, alongside other renowned Portuguese brands, is expected to attract new clients and
new partnerships, contributing to the entry of this family company into international markets and the consequent growth of its reputation.
