Raymond Weil announces partnership with singer Filipe Gonçalves
A passion for music brought Raymond Weil to Filipe Gonçalves, who was recently presented as a friend of the Swiss watch brand during a boat trip on the Tagus River.
With a path based on creativity and consistency, Filipe Gonçalves has been building his career as a singer and songwriter with the mission of spreading happiness through his songs. The artist gained visibility in the Operation Triumph program in 2003, and since then has been integrating several musical genres into his portfolio: soul, funk and R & B.
The song “Dança Joana”, from 2015, led to a turning point in the career of the singer who is now presenting new work, with the theme of the “Crazy Hour” presentation, alluding to “time” and, so introducing the partnership with the Raymond Weil watchmaking brand in the best way.
Filipe is talking about the Tango GMT Bob Marley, a limited edition of 1500 pieces with GMT function, which displays the lion’s head of the world’s best known reggae artist. On the back of this 42mm watch it says “Time Will Tell”, referring to the 1978 album “Kaya”.
Art and music are part of the DNA of the Swiss brand, which over the years has released music limited editions by the most renowned artists: Beatles (since 2016), David Bowie (2017), AC/DC (2018) and Bob Marley (2019).
