CINDOR – the Professional Training Center for the Jewelry and Watchmaking Industry – has joined the Advisory Board of Alma do Fio – Association for the Filigree Art of Portugal, in a decision that reinforces its commitment to enhancing, safeguarding, and promoting Portuguese filigree.

The inauguration of the association’s governing bodies marks the official launch of its activities as a national structure dedicated to protecting traditional craftsmanship. Alma do Fio brings together artisans, researchers, training entities, and cultural institutions, creating a collaborative platform to promote and preserve this emblematic art form.

Within the scope of this integration, CINDOR emphasizes the strategic importance of professional qualifications for the future of the sector. “We believe that specialized training is a key pillar to ensure the continuity, innovation, and international recognition of this distinctive art form,” the center emphasizes, reaffirming the role of technical expertise in passing down knowledge to new generations and adapting filigree to contemporary challenges.
