AICEP and Católica Lisbon promote free online training

On the 20th of January, AICEP launched the course “Introduction to Sustainability in Companies – Financial Perspective”, developed by the Center for Sustainable Finance (CSF) of the Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, in partnership with the Católica Porto Business School and the Santander Foundation. The course consists of four modules, lasts two hours and takes place asynchronously on the AICEP Academy e-learning platform, available 24 hours a day.
The training provides a practical and accessible approach to the financial perspective of sustainability in companies, allowing participants to understand the challenges and opportunities of the transition to sustainability, learn about the relevant legislative framework, such as the European Taxonomy and the CSRD, analyze how financial markets are supporting the transition to sustainable practices, learn how to integrate sustainability into business management with a focus on competitive opportunities and access to finance.
António Baldaque da Silva, from Católica Lisbon, Filipa Pires de Almeida, from Católica Lisbon and Paulo Alves, from Católica Porto are the course speakers.
Attendance on the course requires no previous experience and is aimed at professionals from all sectors. Participants who complete the course will receive an official certificate issued by the Center for Sustainable Finance at Católica Lisbon.
As part of the partnership between AICEP and CSF, the course will be made available free of charge to promote capacity building and increase literacy in Sustainability Finance in Portugal.
The deadline for registering for the course is April 19, 2025.
