PortoJóia 2024 closes with ‘very positive result’

The 33rd edition of PortoJóia, Exponor’s largest trade fair dedicated to the jewelry, goldsmithing, and watchmaking sectors in Portugal, took place from September 26 to 29, with the aim of celebrating individuality, promoting networking, and sharing the sector’s main trends and novelties.
For four days, PortoJóia brought together more than 3,000 Portuguese and international professionals from more than 17 countries, in a space that featured more than 100 companies exhibiting their products – including Eugénio Campos, Topázio, and Kantelegante. The space also included the presence of Oficina PortoJóia and the presentation of creative proposals from the Arts & Jewels initiative, as well as the winning pieces from the Best of Aluno Revelação 2024 Award.
‘As in previous editions, PortoJóia once again stood out due to the large number of companies interested in exhibiting their products and the considerable number of visitors who came to find out about the main trends and novelties in the sector. The result was very positive, revealing the importance that PortoJóia has taken on for professionals in the field as the main showcase for jewelry in Portugal. We want to continue investing in PortoJóia and attract more and more national and international visitors,’ says Amélia Estevão, Exponor’s Marketing Director.
This year’s Best Of Student Revelation Award went to Ana Luísa Cerqueira Rego, author of a piece developed through wax modelling. ‘In symbolic language, everything is organised for a greater good and the legacy endures in the dreams of those who live. ‘Maria’ is a single piece that, at the same time, is threefold: it proposes devotion, allows internal and external contemplation and manifests versatility and empowerment,’ explains Ana Luísa.
