July is the month for Summer Workshops at CJL

This month, the Lisbon Jewelry Centre is organizing two Jewelry Initiation courses for people over 15, with the first class starting on July 15 and the second on July 22.

The workshops organized by the Lisbon Jewelry Centre aim to provide a “practical introduction to the fundamental techniques and processes of jewelry manufacture”, in a training course that seeks to give “elementary technical skills in jewelry, through the execution of a piece of jewelry.”

The workshop’s program includes “practical exercises” such as “cutting brass sheet metal with a saw; experimental soldering of sheet metal and wires; designing and making a silver ring.”
