Portuguese filigree with exclusive assay office certification
In the past 21st of March it was signed the collaboration protocol between a Portuguese Assay Office, the municipalities of Gondomar and Póvoa de Lanhoso and the certifying body. A.certifica, which will give the exclusive right to affix the Portuguese Filigree certification mark to the assay office, with a view of better and increase the trust of the end consumers.
The Portuguese Assay Office has produced new punches for the Portuguese Filigree Certification Mark, with a slightly revamped design, also as a way of marking this historic milestone.
Since forever present in the certification process discussion meetings of the Portuguese Filigree, the AORP, represented by the president, João Faria, considers the “Portuguese Filigree certification by the Assay Office as an asset for the preservation and enhancement of this ancient art”, that can be read in the press at the Assay Office’s site.
