With the theme “More is More”, the next edition of Portojóia highlights “Maximalism: the combination of many colours, countless shapes and different patterns”.

The jewellery, goldsmithery and watch-making sectors are adopting maximalism: the combination of many colours, countless shapes and different patterns. Fun, imagination and fantasy are all characteristics present in this concept. The tendency is to go all out and there are no rules when it comes to wearing accessories. The secret to celebrating true authenticity is embellishing and creating your own style, with the goal to only impress yourself. The fear of combining different types of metals and shapes is disappearing in 2022. The more pieces the better. More is more!” says the fair’s organisers.
