The workshop promoted by Rui Galopim de Carvalho aims to address “the varieties, nomenclature, conservation, history and the main gemological aspects of these biogenic gems seen in jewellery and decorative arts”.
The online sessions have the objective of “catering to a broad audience that not only desires the gems and jewellery industry, but also the art history community and students of jewellery and gemology”.
