Cecilia Krull is the new Ambassador of Filigrana de Gondomar
The Spanish singer sings the theme song of the Spanish series La Casa de Papel entitled My Life Is Going On. The ceremony took place at the Auditório Municipal de Gondomar last Saturday (4th December).
Cecilia Krull received from Marco Martins, Mayor of Gondomar, a painting with a CD crafted in filigree – a secular art of goldsmithery and the mark of Gondomar.
The town hall of Gondomar marked the official recognition of the singer as Filigree Ambassador of Gondomar, with the delivery by the town councillor for Tourism, Sandra Almeida, of an exclusive pin which is a small size replica of the ‘Biggest Filigree Heart in the World’.
At the ceremony Cecilia Krull confessed to be “frankly moved and grateful” for the nomination, confessing that Filigree is, for her, very “special”, in a family where half are musicians “and the other half are jewellers”.
On the eve of the official ceremony, Cecilia Krull had the opportunity to learn about the local reality of the sector and the Filigree Route, with a visit to Casa Branca de Gramido, to CINDOR and to the workshop of the goldsmith Arlindo Moura.
