In early 2025, the century-old brand from Póvoa do Varzim revealed that it intended to expand its international presence and reach more than 20 countries. It will soon arrive in the United Kingdom and the United States.

In a year in which it expects to achieve ‘more than €500,000 in international sales,’ Tavares has set three strategic milestones for the second half of the year, namely: its arrival in September at the iconic Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge department store in London. ‘This will be the first time the brand will be available in the United Kingdom, marking an important step in its international expansion strategy,’ according to Fashion Network.

The brand will also be available at TRNK NYC, a curated platform in New York, a new point of sale in the United States that ‘reinforces the brand’s presence in influential markets that are culturally aligned with its positioning.’

Another key point will be its presence in October at the Saudi Lifestyle 2025 international lifestyle and design fair in Riyadh, where Tavares will present its collections ‘to a sophisticated and global audience in a market of growing importance for the luxury sector’.
