Ana Cardim’s ring wins prize at the DNA Paris Design Awards 2024
In July, jewellery designer Ana Cardim won an award at the DNA Paris Design Awards 2024, in the Product Design/Fashion & Lifestyle category, with a ring designed exclusively for the MAAT shop.
The piece, made of gold-plated brass, is part of the ‘Atomic Dreamer’ collection, which emphasises feminine intuition as the basis of the deepest knowledge and which shows an affinity with the lines of force of the museum building.
Every year, the DNA Paris Design awards honour new and creative design proposals in the fields of architecture and design. In this 2024 edition, Ana Cardim also received another award in the same category, with the ‘Plateforme de Résistance’ collection.
The Portuguese designer has had a permanent presence in the MAAT shop since 2019, when she launched the ‘Restart Collection’ exclusively for the museum, ‘a line based on the capacity for renewal intrinsic to the female reality and inspired by the intelligence that (re)reconciles and manages situations of opposition or divergence, through simple and original proposals’.
