Portojóia under the motto “Me, Myself and I”
The motto for the 33rd edition of Portojóia – International Fair of Jewelry, Goldsmithing, and Watchmaking – “Me, Myself and I” – aims to highlight the value of individuality and self-expression. From September 26 to 29, national and international exhibitors will gather at Exponor, in Leça da Palmeira, Matosinhos, to present the latest innovations in the sector.
The 33rd edition of the International Fair of Jewelry, Goldsmithing, and Watchmaking has as its premise “consumers looking for pieces that reinforce their identity and highlight their unique personality”. In this way, the pieces must reflect their personality and stand out from conventional trends.
PortoJóia continues to be the stage for the main companies in the sectors represented, bringing together a comprehensive profile of exhibitors, from brands, importers, manufacturers, designers, as well as companies dedicated to developing software and machines. On the official website, it is also possible to guarantee enrolment and stand presence. In addition to the opportunity to present one’s work in the sector’s largest Iberian showcase, marketing tools are also offered, such as integration into the E+E Platform, designed to strengthen relations between visitors and exhibitors, as well as presence in Portojóia’s exhibitor newsletters.
The fair has accustomed its visitors to dynamics that highlight trends and new creators. “Art & Jewels” is one of them, returning for its fourth edition and promoting partnerships between jewelry and other creative areas, associating artists with designers. To reward the best of the sectors, the seventh edition of the “Best Of ’24 Award” competition will also be presented, to find new talent in the art, design, and jewelry sectors. This award is for the following categories: designer revelation, best physical store, best store window, best online store, student revelation, career award, best stand window, and best stand.
The “Portojóia Workshop” project, a space dedicated to what distinguishes and elevates the jewelry sector – the art of savoir faire, is back. This project will be led on-site by artisans, emerging designers, and students with new blood and a desire to grow.
