Luxury Management Program reaches 20th edition
The program “offers a comprehensive view of the luxury universe, reflecting on its challenges, the essence of its foundations, the idiosyncrasies of its consumers’ behavior and the particularities of its management, in terms of the creative and innovation process, communication, pricing, distribution, and retail, among others.”
In partnership with Católica Porto Business School, the program will have its 20th edition in Lisbon in October 2024. In person, it will last 70 hours and participants will have the opportunity to explore the multiple dimensions of the luxury universe in Portugal and around the world, through areas such as fashion and footwear, jewelry and watchmaking, aviation, gastronomy and wine, hospitality and real estate, among others.
In addition, they will be encouraged to expand their professional networks through contact and interaction with the heads of nationally and internationally renowned luxury brands. Participants will have access to content of great relevance to their businesses, such as luxury brand building, communication, pricing, retail management, customer service, customer experience, creativity, and innovation, among others.
Mónica Seabra-Mendes, director of the program, reveals that the ambition of this course is “to train executives with (solid or embryonic) projects aimed at the luxury market, regardless of their sector of activity or segment, thus contributing to training a new generation of professionals in the luxury area and consolidating this market segment in Portugal.”
The program offers “a comprehensive 360º tour of the luxury business and features a group of renowned teachers with academic and professional experience in the luxury segment and with a very current and in-depth view of the different challenges that the luxury universe faces,” explains the director.
The training includes a very practical dimension, with case studies, privileged interaction with guest companies from the sector, visits to luxury brands/companies, as well as a residential weekend visit behind the scenes of Portuguese luxury. There is also a space for discussion and sharing – Luxury Active Sharing – as well as moments of networking and socializing.
