Alfândega Jóias comes back stronger

For the second year running, the Congress Center of the Porto Customs Building was the “home” of this event, which featured more than 20 exhibiting companies. JoiaPro stopped by and confirmed the liveliness of the goldsmithing, jewelry, and watchmaking sector.

Alfândega Joias is a project “born out of the need to bring the sector together”. And the venue was designed to allow bringing to bring together as many companies as possible”, recalls Tiago Teixeira, from Iat Pratas, the event’s mentor.

At Alfândega Joias’ debut, in 2023, the “good feedback” felt by everyone resulted in the participation of 16 exhibiting companies and around 200 visitors. The 2024 edition had more exhibiting companies and the balance was also “very positive”, in the words of most of those present.

And, they add, “It’s an event that has legs”.
