Instituto Camões joins the Concurso de Ourivesaria APIO
The partnership aims for the promotion of the event by the Instituto Camões and the participation in the respective jury, with a representative designating conveniently.
“We are excited to share that the Institute has expressed its willingness to consider other forms of collaboration after the conclusion of the competition and its results”, says the APIO. Among the proposed initiatives, the following stand out, “possibility for the winning piece to be exhibited in another country and the chance for the Camões, I.P. to adopt any one of the contending pieces as an offer”, confirmed by the Associação Portuguesa da Indústria de Ourivesaria.
“We thank the Instituto Camões for their willingness to support this initiative and we hope to be able to count on all the goldsmiths and goldsmith artists’ participation in this memorable event”, highlights the association.
