Deal made about jewelry industry collective labor agreement
An agreement was reached between the Portuguese Jewelry Industry Association (APIO) and the Inter-Union Federation of Metallurgical, Chemical, Electrical, Pharmaceutical, Pulp, Paper, Printing, Press, Energy and Mining (FIEQUIMETAL) regarding the jewelry industry’s collective labor agreement to take effect during the year of 2024.
According to the news published by the APIO, the salary scales and other clauses of pecuniary expression will have a duration of twelve months, with effect from January 1st, 2024, onward.
It was established the following monthly minimal salaries for each of the categories:
There was also an update to the mal allowance’s amount to 6,20 euros per day of work actually performed.
The process will now follow normal procedures for publishing in the Work and Employment Bulletin.
