“The world of opals” by Rui Galopim de Carvalho 

In this online training, we also highlight the history and main occurrences, the complexity of understanding the value factors of opal, as well as the main treatments and imitations. All classes are online (Zoom) and are scheduled to start at 9am (G1) or 7pm (G2) Lisbon/London time zone. 

Basic mineralogical classification, varieties of opal gemstones, and commercial terminology are some of the topics highlighted in this online training, scheduled for this Tuesday (June 4).
